Likino-Dulevo

Likino-Dulevo is a small town in Podmoskovye, in Orekhovo-Zuevo district, on the east. The town is famous by porcelain factory, by bus factory and by Palace of Culture.

Dulevo porcelain factory is the largest in Russia. He was founded by famous manufacturers Kuznetsovs in 1832.

Likino bus factory. All people of USSR used LiAZ. Unfortuantely there isn’t a museum at bus factory. Now the plant is the part of GAZ group.

This is the Palace of Culture of porcelain factory. It’s only one building of contructivist architect Konstantin Melnikov outside of Moscow.

It seems that town not changed so much for last 50 years.

In overall Likino-Dulevo quiet and nice town. People go here for the dishes. It’s a local craft.

In USSR was a tradition to send notes to future generations. This note was sent in the 150 years anniversary of fabric and should be opened in 2032 year (200 year anniversary).

The most interesting things are stored in the factory museum but it doesn’t work by week-ends. Also you could check town’s museum. There is guide tours where you can drink a tea from a local made cup.
